1. Do I have to prebook?
We recommend booking through the website to guarantee your place on the tour. You can pay the guide on the day at the meet point but that is subject to availability. We reserve the right to close the tour when the numbers are such that it would affect the quality of the tour.
2. Is the meeting polint easy to find?
Yes, the meeting point is located on the main square in Munich called Marienplatz. The local S-bahn and U-bahn (train system) run to the square. Your guide will be located in front of the tourist information centre and be holding a black and white placard. For private tours, a meet point will discussed prior to the tour, if your hotel is in Munich we can meet you there.

We will use the very modern and very reliable Munich transportation system for Munich based tours and regional express trains for private day tours.
5. Can you take photos at Dachau?
Yes you can take photos anywhere but you are not allowed to use flash. Regarding other rules on the site, you are not allowed to eat or smoke within the memorial and general common sense regarding respect for other visitors.
6. Who will our guide be?
Alun Evans endeavours to run all tours, there are circumstances however such as illness or other scheduling issues where a specially selected highly competent guide will take the tour. We only hire the best guides.
7. What if we have to change tour days?

9. Do you walk fast?
We hate rushing people around, and the guide will be skilled in regulating the tour to suit all participants. However if for whatever reason you feel you may be particularly slow, to the point where it may affect the experience of the group in general, it may be worth considering whether a group tour is right for you. Contact us, maybe we can arrange a private tour to cater especially for you!
10. Does the tour leader accept gratuities?
Tipping or gratuities are not obligatory and your guide will certainly not expect it. In saying that they will be of the highest quality which involves a lot of care, research, and professionalism. Gratuities will be humbly accepted and is a great way of showing appreciation to your guide.
11. We have a particular request for tours that you are not offering?
Please do ask us even if it seems we are not offering what you require. We will be able to look into it for you, with a good possibility of being able to meet your needs. Who knows you may create a new tour that will benefit you and others in the future. Should we not be able to meet your needs, we will point you in the direction of someone that can due to our extensive network of contacts here in Bavaria.
